中新网呼伦贝尔11月29日电 (记者 李爱平)内蒙古自治区气象局29日对外消息指，282tyc.com：当地呼伦贝尔市根河地区出现罕见“寒夜光柱”。
11月28日20时左右，素有“中国冷极”之称的根河市市区出现了奇观，光柱五彩斑斓非常奇幻。
这种光柱是一种自然现象，通常在日落时分出现。它们的形成是由于寒冷使得空气中的水凝结成了冰晶，这些冰晶捕捉到附近的光线，并像数以百万计的微型镜子一样，将光线折射回地面的结果。人眼看到的其实是一个反射光柱的虚像，天气寒冷是形成的条件之一，天气越寒冷光柱反射的就越强烈。
据了解，光柱产生时当地最大相对湿度为78%，最低气温-26.9℃。寒冷的夜晚五彩斑斓的光柱如梦似幻，为银装素裹的北国风光增添了炫丽的色彩。
